• Understanding the Functional Requirements and Business workflow. • Write test cases using various test case design techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage. • Develop test scenarios and detailed test cases for Smoke, Functional, Integration, and System testing. • Perform cross-browser testing and parallel execution to verify the compatibility and stability of the application across different web browsers. • Conduct smoke testing once the configuration is ready to test. • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and REST Assured. • Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate API functionality and performance. • Validate HTTP request methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE, and verify the response codes and response bodies. • Validate API endpoints are integrated properly with third-party systems and external APIs. • Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation using Swagger. • Participate in reviewing test cases with the team to make sure accuracy and completeness. • Interact with developers to achieve a mutual understanding of the functionality based on requirements. • Identify and report bugs, and track defects using tools like Excel sheets and JIRA test management tool. • Interacting with development team for reviewing and fixing defects and issues. • Generate work progress reports and communicate them to the Test Lead to ensure transparency and track the testing progress.
