IT Professional with nearly 30 years of experience in multiple roles and skills. Began as a system builder and worked through the ranks to become Vice President of New Technologies. Mainly focused on enterprise-level solutions revolving around virtualization, but, master of many trades, with skills in Linux, Microsoft, and Networking, both from the hardware world and software.Was brought in as the "fixer" when many were unable to resolve a technical problem. Performed tasks from large scale disaster recovery (whether hardware RAID, Exchange servers, Active Directory, NAS/SAN corruption), to implementing web hosting solutions from the ground up to get businesses up and running.Consulted with many large scale organizations, with upwards of 30,000 seats, and have spoken at a number of conferences. My original website was used as reference material for Microsoft technical support reps, while some of the content I wrote had been used by Connectix (the creators of VirtualPC, the company Microsoft purchased and developed Hyper-V from). Was an initial member of the Intel New Platform Workshop, allowing me to work directly with the engineering team and product managers at Intel to help bring new products to the world, and provided assistance to the system builder/reseller community directly via involvement in Intel meetings/forums, Ingram Micro meetings/forums, and the like.A life-long IT industry worker with a passion for solving problems and developing new solutions.
