Project: Genetic studies in Mycobacterium kansasii in Dr. Luis E. N. Quadri’s Lab - Assisted in building transposon library of thousands of M. kansasii colonies (close relative of M. tuberculosis) to generate mutants for studying tuberculosis, while following biosafety level 2 protocol- Presented transposon research at ABRCMS 2018 to students and professionals across country as travel grant awardee
