My current position is on the Scarborough development, The role involves interfacing with all streams within the project and bringing together the teams to identify issues before they arise. To then develop processes and procedures to mitigate quality, health and safety and schedule risks.I currently manage SIMOPS, Regulatory Compliance, emergency response and integrated completions

Because of my knowledge in Marine and Offshore Oil and Gas Regulatory compliance, I was drafted into a small team reporting directly to the COO and CEO to review our regulatory obligations for the company and advise on strategies to ensure the obligations were met.

My job was to develop and implement maintenance strategies, manage budget forecasting for the operation and maintenance of the system, develop scopes for major maintenance and work with vendor and the offshore teams to deliver the scopes.I managed capex budgets for equipment change out and improvement opportunities, I would develop business cases in the 10s of millions to present to the Asset Manager, Joint Venture Partners and ExCom.

The project was a life extension of an existing FPSO with new wells being tied back to the facility, estimated around AUD $2bn. There were over 200 scopes to deliver and sequence. The FPSO was due for the 4th Special Survey, so I was tasked with defining the scope to complete the survey successfully. I relocated to Singapore and worked in the Keppel shipyard in Tuas.My role included:- Leading team of marine engineers- Scope definition and development - Scheduling, procurement, logistics- development of Completions management systems and commissioning

The work involved providing engineering support for 4 operating FPSOs as customer focused role providing engineering services. My work ranged from developing procedures, writing inspection scopes,installing replacement equipment, and working with contracts to develop call off agreements. Most of the work was providing schedule and cost estimates to the facilities so they can make decision on which scopes to proceed with and understand the cost benefit.

My role at LMC required I carry out a research project. The project involved creating mesh models of vessels and developing mooring systems using quasi-dynamic analysis programs. I further constructed full dynamic models of the system to analyse the effects of vessel motions on the mooring systems. My research involved working closely with the structural department to develop design solutions resulting from the analysis. The skills I learnt were:• Mesh generation for radiation/diffraction calculations to analyse motion responses using the Bureau Veritas program, Hydrostar • Quasi-Dynamic analysis for different mooring configurations using the Bureau Veritas program, Ariane 7. Full dynamic analysis using the Orcina program, Orcaflex• In depth knowledge of classification society rules for offshore structures and mooring systems. Including analysis methods for multiple environmental conditions and corresponding design requirements • Working within a team of Naval Architects and inter-departmental correspondence

I project managed the dry docking periods of this vessel, organising and working along side the yard contractors. I was also responsible for the maintenance of the onboard machinery and systems, including diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical systems repair and servicing. I returned in the summer of 2014 to manage another dry docking period.

During my time onboard i was responsible for:• Maintenance and operation of all onboard systems, both in preparation for, and during time at sea. • Interaction with the yacht owner and guests in both social and professional situations - gaining useful interpersonal and communication skills.• Operational and preventative maintenance of marine diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electronic systems both AC and DC. Using critical and analytical techniques to fault find and resolve technical issues.• Developing technical understanding of marine systems, and personal work scheduling, including prioritising necessary maintenance. • Reading and interpreting ships technical drawings

Responsibilities included: • Organizing, teaching and leading dive courses and group tours. Proven ability to coordinate, teach, and control groups of people in high-risk activities.• Excellent safety awareness.• Servicing diving equipment including tank inspections and compressor maintenance. • Maintenance and running of dive boats.• Managing the dive shop, involving customer relations, dive bookings, and equipment hire and sales.• Co-ordinating operations within a team of dive instructors
