Functioning as the Executive Director for Institutional Engagement at the University of Kentucky. Responsible for overseeing the institutions Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Implementation Plan, a variety of diversity programs, underrepresented student success; interpreting, monitoring and analyzing information regarding operating policies and procedures; developing learning outcomes and subsequent assessments; and coordinating responses to critical incidents involving student concerns (e.g. retention), bias incident reports. In addition to those duties, assist with the Division of Enrollment Management with minority recruitment and marketing strategies.

Served as the Director of Education for the Martin Luther King Cultural Center where I developed strategies and best practices for engaging student and professional affinity groups. Maintained fiscal control of $200K dollar unit; coordinated development and external relations for underrepresented students, staff and faculty.
