Operations oversight at KwaZulu-Natal's first photovoltaic solar panel producer with roughly 2MW output per week. Implementing SHERQ and World Class Manufacturing philosophies from the bottom up and top down.Achievements:- Doubled framing production output from 3000 to 6000 units per week and doubled lamination production output from 1000 to 2000 units per week over a 6 month period.- Led recruitment of roughly 60 employees to take the factory floor staff count from 120 to 180 to move from a 2-shift to a 3-shift production system.- Implemented non-existent HR, IR and SHEQ elements of the business by creating the right team around the MD and within Operations.- Successfully passed four stringent ISO9000, TUEV SUED and customer factory audits with the auditors commenting positively on the firm's continuous improvement since their last visit.- Oversaw the opening of a 2000sq.m. warehouse and five new cool storage rooms.www.artsolar.net

Supplier Quality Assurance for New Product Introduction, working with Body & Trim suppliers to ensure smooth launches on multiple vehicle projects. Launched the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the Phantom Series II family and developed the Rolls-Royce Wraith to pre-series maturity. Promoted to Proxy to Commodity Manager in Jan 2011 with 2IC responsibility in a team of eight. Offered position of Project Manager for New Vehicles before returning to South Africa.

Reengineered the Bespoke feature development process, managed prototype vehicle manufacture, gained MPDS accreditation for the company from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, sold 34 vehicles to China over 2 months, developed assembly best practice methodologies, gained dealership experience, project-managed Parts Quality operations during warehouse premises migration.
