So what's the story - Co Founder and FD of Workerbee Recruitment. We set the company up to make use of our vast expertise in the recruitment industry and to provide a hands on, first class service to both clients and workers.Our ethos is based around 100% compliance, integrity, transparency, and looking after the workers that we place. We want to make recruitment better by being open and honest with our candidates and putting people before profits.My background is in audit and accounts. I spent the first 10 years of my career within an accountancy practice, learning my trade, becoming a Chartered accountant and most importantly getting experience of the needs and inner workings of businesses in many different sectors.From there it was a short jump to taking over the finance department for Red Eagle Recruitment where over the following 7 years I became the group FD, grew the finance function into a team of 6, helped the business to grow threefold and learnt the inside and out of temp payroll and the workings of a recruitment agency. I lead that business up to the point of sale and stayed for the best part of a year to oversea the transition. My heart is and has always been with the SMEs rather than the multinationals of the world so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to team up with my Ops Director and brother in arms, Will Cotter, to launch Workerbee Recruitment and make full advantage of everything that we do best.If you value worker welfare, ethical trading and want an agency that makes the effort to understand your business and is 100% above board and honest then we, at Workerbee, are the people you've been looking for.
