Working on high profile events, such as motor sports and large volume public gatherings. My role ranges from paramedic assist through to working independently as a cycle responder. Using a variety of equipment, such as medical gases, scoop, spinal immobilisation and monitoring. This interesting role enables me to work with people needing basic first aid, through to assisting people who have potentially serious injuries and or illness. Additionally I have attended training on Secure Mental Health transfers, self defense, appropriate use of restraint, handcuffs and body Armour to enable me to assist a medical team transporting individuals who have mental health difficulties and or have been sectioned under the mental health Act under normal or blue light conditions.

TACSAR is a specialist organisation specialising in the training, development and deployment of Victim Detection Dogs (VDD) to aid families, private organisations and law enforcement in finding missing persons. These specialist dogs are trained to NASDU standards for the detection of live people, but also specialise in finding the deceased.
