I began making websites in 1996 and I haven't been able to stay away from the internet since.I have, and still am blown away by the scale that websites provide. A single blog post or ecommerce product category can be seen by hundreds of thousands of people each year, or even each month.My career has given me the opportunity to develop websites, market them, design and operate data centers, install and configure networks, rack and maintain servers, as well as support end users' software.I supplemented that with a working holiday that helped me to get a deep understanding of the outdoor and sports industries and have since managed to combine the them.This wide range of experiences has helped me to see the bigger picture—how websites and the right inputs can generate large numbers of brand reach, leads and sales.Later choosing to live abroad and independent of any one country has helped me to greatly understand other topics such as tax residency, structuring and investment.Nowadays my core area of focus in search engine optimization. It's what I know best, and is something I'm extremely excited about. I've also learned it's the best way for me to bring value to others.
