I’m currently pursuing a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) at Queen’s University, after completing my HBSc in Psychological & Health Sciences at the University of Toronto. Throughout my studies, I’ve become increasingly passionate about supporting people in achieving their fullest potential, whether it's through daily activities, building new skills, or adapting to life changes. In OT school, I’m learning how to take a holistic approach to care, focusing on the unique needs and goals of each person. I’m excited to dive deeper into areas like low vision rehabilitation, stroke and neuro, with a particular interest in exploring how public policy can shape access to healthcare. Every experience, whether in the classroom or in clinical settings, has reinforced my belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to engage in meaningful occupations that enhance their well-being.In addition to my academic & professional pursuits, I have also taken on the role of owning and operating my own small business in the charcuterie industry. This entrepreneurial venture has provided me with valuable hands-on experience in managing various aspects of a business, including marketing, finance, and customer relations. Running my own business has not only cultivated my entrepreneurial spirit but has also enhanced my problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience. This experience has further contributed to my professional growth by fostering a strong work ethic, effective time management, and the ability to balance multiple responsibilities.
