6th Generation Mustang (2015 Model Year) Ford Mustang Team • 2015 Ford Mustang awarded the highest possible 5 star safety rating from NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).• Developed and implemented automated algorithm to track prototype part inventory and order management system which is now used extensively to date to manage sub-system level safety testing. • Responsible for conducting 50+ physical crash tests according to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). Worked with a cross-functional team from multiple disciplines including body exterior, body interior, engine, transmission, chassis systems, electrical systems to ensure that vehicles were prepped and tested on schedule. • Presented the Award of Excellence by the Safety chief engineer and Body interior director in recognition of efforts to develop and implement engineering practice to predict crash test weight efficiently.• Developed and implemented an automated algorithm to effectively track part level updates in prototype vehicles thereby ensuring efficient and accurate crash testing.
