LS-DynaFrontal Car Crash of Ford Taurus-2001 •The BIW structure of the car was crashed to a rigid wall at 25mph and 35mph•The entire car model was crashed to a rigid wall at 25mph and 35mph.•The load carrying ability of BIW was determined and methods on improving it were discussed. Side Impact of Geo-metro with MDB and Pole Impact•Dummy used in the analysis was Side Impact Dummy (SID2)•FMVSS 214 including MDB and Pole Impact (Inclined with 75o and 90o)•Injury Criteria on the dummy were verified.
