As a disability support worker and worker in smash repairs, I am in my final year of Bachelor of Social work student completing the final 600 hours of field placement at Penrith city council children services.Have over years of experience in the automotive industry and a year of experience in the disability sector, I look forward to being a social work Graduate willing to work in the Mental health industry. My first placement for 400+ hours in the disability sector helped me to gain the knowledge and skills I need for social work, as I also started working in the same organization to get in a deeper understanding and knowledge of social work in the disability sector. Currently student under Penrith City council children services I am able to learn and get experience in child protection, mandatory reporting, working with parents and families, educating children of both primary and middle age skills that help in making daily decisions, teaching and helping them understand and learn various skills that they are interested in. Having a experience in two non-for-profit organizations and international organisation which allows me to bring different skills that helps me to learn faster and get a better understanding of things.
