Leading on user research and design for 3 digital services in the prison and probation space. My research is informing the digital transformation of the user journey of creating and varying licences from paper based and legacy systems to a seamless digital experience from prison to probation.

User Researcher within the Data Directorate. I conducted moderated and unmoderated user research face to face and remotely. Used a range of both quantitative and qualitative user research methods from user interviews, surveys, card sorting, diary studies, and usability testing aswell as content testing methods such as highlighter test. Ran co-design workshops to redesign the service resulting in accurate data for over 60 different user types. Started a storytelling working group providing learning and development to the community aswell as ethical guidance. Conducted user research in a complex problem space and the development of APIs. All while advocating for accessibility needs.

Worked on freelance UX Design projects in the E-Commerce, social media and food industry. Delivered end to end from user research through to high fidelity prototypes. Conducted research to improve the information architecture resulting in an acceleration of user completion rates and sales for the company.

As well as teaching, I designed curriculums, learning content and assessments for both staff and children using Articulate Storyline 360. Created supporting material and LMS for various learning contents for the multi academy trust. Conducted an Ethnography research project on the suitability and impact of remote learning platforms on families. My research led to an informative competitive audit of 3 different remote learning platforms and insights for social research. My wireframes and journey mapping led to polished high fidelity designs for remote teaching.
