- (Fall 2023) Facilitate weekly emotion perception experiments by welcoming participants into exam room, presenting experiment directions in a digestible manner, and supervising the entirety of their session.- Shadow a PhD candidate in their research methods, utilization of lab equipment and interfaces, and lab meeting execution/presentations.- Train to become lab manager by meeting with and observing the current lab manager's administrative duties such as filing lab reimbursements for conferences, organizing/marketing lab meetings, and onboarding new research assistants.- Prepare to work with electroencephalogram (EEG) equipment at The Whitney Lab by regularly practicing sample data analysis based on past studies and listening attentively to EEG protocols from PhD candidate mentor in lab.

Projects:1. "Emotion Perception Eye Tracking" - Collecting and analyzing eye gaze and pupil dilation data on how healthy individuals use visual context to infer the emotions of others. Connecting this to the abnormal eye gaze of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their emotion perception performance. a. "Emotion Perception EEG" - Collecting and analyzing electroencephalogram data and event related potentials (ERP) of participants perceiving the emotions of characters in videos. Adding this ERP data to the eye-tracking dataset for broader insights.2. "Orientation Judgements of Noisy Stimuli" - Collecting and analyzing data on how healthy individuals perceive visual stimuli in their peripheral vision in internal and external modes. Connecting findings with how participants with hallucinations and psychosis perceive visual stimuli in their periphery

During my time as an EBHS Coordinator, I have been able to give back as an EBHS alumni in guiding underprivileged students through each step of their University of California applications. Students are low-income and first-generation, and excel at their current high schools. I work with my cohort of 12 students an average of six hours a week in the fall, as well as recruit new students in the Spring on top of curating Stiles Hall's social media presence. Throughout the program, I build close relationships with my cohort in order to cater my PIQ advice to their goals and identities through our one-on-one meetings, program-wide workshops, and college counseling.

-Film weekly TikTok videos shining light on Hispanic/Latinx social issues such as immigration, higher education accessibility, mental health, and current news.- Meet weekly with other Hispanic/Latinx content creators and administrators to script future videos and organize content calendars.- Communicate daily with a team of 10 Gen Z Por El Cambio employees to discuss current events within the community and points of improvement regarding XEC's social media presence.

At Anytime Fitness Berkeley, I use my lifetime of athletic experience to coach classes with 3-8 participants of all ages at least once a week. In these 1-hour fitness circuits, I train each adult in how to exercise with safe and engaging form, as well as provide modifications to cater to any injuries or limitations they may be enduring. Aside from teaching classes, I also provide member services at the front desk such as tours, membership plans, and general club bookkeeping.
