This initiative created national and regional networks of business leaders, policy makers and public figures to accelerate mobility decarbonization in emerging markets. Moving India was launched at COP 26 in Glasgow in 2021 and Moving Indonesia was launched at the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting in Davos in 2022. In 2023, the plan is to expand Moving Indonesia to Moving ASEAN and add an initiative for Moving Africa.Moving India Network of over 50 public and private sector leaders advanced the agenda on manufacturing of electric vehicles and battery ecosystem in India, ignite India's transition to zero emission road freight, open capital pools for financing of India's two- and three-wheeler fleets and advance automotive circularity and battery recycling in India.To advance EV manufacturing, we curated CEO-ministerial dialogues, typically hosted by the Chief Ministers or Industries Ministers of major state governments. To advance zero emission road freight, worked with NITI Aayog to curate India's first zero emission road freight corridor – which was launched during G20 Energy Minister’s meeting. Moving Indonesia advanced adoption of electric two- and three-wheelers, supported contract de-risking to advance electrification of Jakarta's public transport fleet while supporting Indonesia to benefit from its nickel and other critical raw material resources while ensuring resilient global supply chains.This role was part of the larger Shaping the Future of Mobility platform that advances global public-private collaboration in the areas of aerospace, space, drones, supply chains and the automotive sector.
