Volunteering one day a week at an animal rescue centre working within the cattery.

As part of my university course I worked for 5 weeks at The Countess of Chester Hospital. During these few weeks I was given various tasks in various parts of the hospital. I worked behind the scenes to start with helping to file and organise patient notes for the next day. I also spent several days working on A+E reception viewing day to day activities. Most of my time however was spent in the IT department of the hospital. Here I learnt how problems with equipment within the hospital are fixed and dealt with in the quickest time possible. Working here also made me learn the huge importance of confidentiality.

This job involved various tasks including serving food and drink, cleaning the surrounding areas, serving people over the till and promoting the stores current offers and promotions. Working here for this period of time taught me many skills particularly how to deal with the public and how to deal with problems head on.

This job involved different tasks such as visiting independent record shops and helping merchandise and observe selling within the store along with over the phone work and emailing.

This job involved general sales studies such as restocking shelves, dealing with any problems/issues customers had and serving people on the till.
