For me music is not just a hobby but a passion; media is not just a tool but a language; PR is not just a necessity but a blessing. Ever since high school I was determined to carve my way to a future involving music and PR and on the way learning as much as possible about living and acting in different cultural circumstances. I understood early on, that the passion for music is the force that can break language barriers easily, overcoming borders that seemed so hard to overcome. After living in Japan for two years in total and being able to work there in the music industries, continueing what had started as a volunteer job, I was able to not only broaden my intercultural understanding and language skills but also connect with fans from all over the world, building not only an amazing audience, but also a great team to work with. Working as the leader of a team of 10 made me understand the importance of recognizing the needs and abilities of each individual member and furthermore eludicated the significance of motivation as a driving force. My degrees in International Business Management and Media Management furthermore allowed me to broaden my skillset and offered me several possibilities to apply my knowledge in various circumstances, from being a leader to being a member of a great team. My passion for music and media never ceased and hence while taking my bachelors degree I decided to further develop more skills in music management, hence preparing for a certificate from the School of Entertainment & Technology in music. After finishing my M.Sc. at the University of Glasgow, I started working at the german music label Gan-Shin Records. As the portfolio mainly consist of Japanese and Korean artists I was able to not only apply my economy and marketing/PR skills, but also my language abilities and furthermore learn from professionals from all over Asia.
