As the HR/manager at CRT/tanaka, I am responsible for all aspects of job placement, overseeing CRT/tanaka’s employee review and orientation processes, as well as all administrative benefits, payroll and 401(k) contributions for the agency’s five offices. I am involved in various aspects of employee relations and implement the company’s human resource policies. Prior to joining CRT/tanaka, I served as assistant manager and IAS/personnel services for one of CRT/tanaka’s predecessor agencies, Patrice Tanaka and Company, Inc. (PT&Co.), where I assisted the CFO with HR-related issues. Before that, I served as accounting supervisor for PT&Co.processing payroll, bank reconciliations, A/R & A/P. I began my career as an accounting assistant at Shapiro & Kreisman in Melville, N.Y. I processed payroll, bank reconciliations, A/R, A/P, and petty cash. I also served as a liason for the client and debtors and processed forebearance plans, payoff and reinstatement quotes.I am a magna cum laude graduate from Nyack College in Nyack, N.Y., where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational management. I am also a cum laude graduate from Monroe College in New Rochelle, N.Y., where I earned an Associate of Science degree in business management. I am an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management since 2001 and Council of PR HR-roundtable since 2004.
