I now put into practice skills I’ve picked up from studying Fashion at Bolton University and also at my current employers. This includes; designing from collage, creating reels/gifs, creating swatch boards with digital bespoke designs, dropping fabrics digitally into designs before offering to customers so they can see the outcome before being made, low waste pattern cutting, sewing on an industrial sewing machine and industrial overlocking machine, setting up pop-up shops, creating displays in house, checking over stock sent from factories, sketching ideas for prints and/or embroidery, collecting research/inspiration for future collections.I’ve also gained experience with company accounts, scheduling and attending meetings with suppliers and retailers.
