Support is providing to 8 local authorities and multisectoral project teams in project partner locations relating to the implementation of grants to support social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups. Providing on-site technical assistance to partners in 8 target locations, primarily Centers for Social Welfare and local authorities, in the development of situation assessment and evidence-based grant schemes to support the social inclusion of the most vulnerable groups, in line with Leave No One Behind principle; Conduct capacity building activities to local partners on social protection and inclusion programmatic areas (social services development, social entrepreneurship, integrated case management) as well as project cycle management; Facilitate multisectoral meetings and mobilization of wider community partners to contribute to sustainability of actions and raise awareness of local partners on SDGs as relates to social protection; Assist local partners in preparing project documents, budgets and administering funds in accordance with UNlCEF's rules and regulations; Follow up on financial reporting and proper utilization of funds; Monitor the implementation of activities, initiate corrective actions as needed and provide progress reports; Ensure visibility and provide inputs to donor progress and final reports; Participate in the inter-agency meetings and prepare inputs as require. The analyse incorporates: General information within social protection sector (local, cantonal and entity level) and more particular and comprehensive information and data on existing practices regarding provision of social protection services for marginalised populations in the at least 7 targeted LGs (LCs/MZs) with the specific focus on cooperation of CSWs and LCs/MZs in the field, Mapping of stakeholders involved in social protection service provision, information on local institutions, stakeholders (including LCs/MZs) and status of services, Information around the current (strategic) plans for development of targeted CSWs and their expressed needs in capacity building as well as capacity building needs of LCs/LCs in this sector. Also, overview of legal and technical preconditions for LCs/MZs to be able to get involved in cooperation and support in the provision of such services, Conclusions on gaps in capacities of targeted CSWs/LCs for the provision of the required services with recommendations for improvement of cooperation and support provided by LCs/MZs with aim to provide better quality and efficient services to their citizens and make LCs/MZs a place available to everyone, Analysis of the current service provision practices/involvement and identification of potentials for implementation of new services or service methodologies.
