ENRU (Experimental Neuropsychology Research Unit) Lab MonashWorked collaboratively with researchers to develop a research article intended for publication in scientific journals to further extend our knowledge of FRDA (Friedreich Ataxia) using neuroimaging techniques such as fMRI.

Involved working with staff, teachers, and parents in enabling students to reach their full potential and overcome their difficulties through method, care and persistence.

As a trained ABA therapist, I utilised my background theoretical knowledge and experience with working with children with learning difficulties to promote an enhanced social and academic scaffolding for autistic children within the school system. This opportunity has helped me develop practical clinical skills in reporting, administering and tracking psychological interventions through support of a clinical team and the family members of my clients.

As Vice-President for MICS, I was responsible for making key decisions during a difficult year of lockdowns in the year 2020. I highly enjoyed creating a meaningful experience for both MICS Committee Members and MICS club members, even with a shift to online events during the pandemic. My role involved conducting in-person interviews, evaluating close to 100 applications for Subcommittee, and delegating between a team of 6 members effectively to produce successful events for MICS. This role enabled me to work cohesively in a large team of young professionals to produce large scale events that invited individuals throughout Melbourne to participate in culturally based events. This leadership position was an excellent introduction for me, personally, to learn how to work effectively in a large team of 15-20 people.
