▪Conduct weekly and PRN individual therapy sessions with inmates diagnosed with a variety of disorders including Adjustment Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Schizophrenia, Substance use, and Personality Disorder.▪ Facilitate Michigan Sex Offender Program (MSOP) to current inmates who have been charged with committing a sexual offense.▪ Conduct PREA screenings for new transfers to the facility to ensure their safety and measure their risk of being a victim of sexual assault or perpetrator of sexual assault against others.▪ Document individual inmates progress towards treatment goals, and prepare parole board documents for parole consideration.

▪ Provided assistance to patients in the utilization of mental health services, community resources, and education materials as it related to their mental health diagnosis.▪ Educated patients on the expectations and the process of receiving mental health treatment on an inpatient basis in order to achieve acute stabilization.▪ Ensured patients receive adequate information which helped them understand various disorders, disabilities, and social elements that predispose illness and interfere with patient care.▪ Executed appropriate and timely discharge disposition according to patients medical plan of care while in the Emergency Room.

▪ Provided individual assessments and services to undergraduates on campus with a drug/alcohol violation.▪ Utilized Motivational Interviewing to engage undergraduates in understanding their drug/alcohol usage.▪ Facilitated training events directed at sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and substance abuse▪ Supervised student facilitators providing the Bystander Intervention Training Programs (BIT) to incoming freshman and transfer students.

I provided therapeutic services to low functioning adolescent girls. I worked with others to help foster an environment that was conducive to the progression of the youth so that they could successfully integrate back into society. I encouraged and reinforced their daily living skills, and completed detailed daily progression notes.

I completed intake and mental health evaluations for new clients, as well as housing searches for the residents of the shelter. I partnered with other community agencies to provide services to clients. I served as volunteer coordinator for outside agencies & groups and assisted women with life skills & integrating back into society.

Provided mental, and emotional support for adolescents with mental health & behavioral disorders as well as hands on assistance to clients during school hours. I completed daily documentation of clients’ progress and behavior, notating their strengths and their areas of improvement. Furthermore, I implemented activities and group setting sessions, establishing a safe and open rapport.
