Create & execute YaraCentre’s annual business plan while adhering to The Moose Jaw and Downtown/Soccer Field-House Facilities, Inc. (DFFH) policy and budgetary guidelines, managing a diverse team within a multifaceted venue and prioritizing the success of programs and events for user groups and contracted parties. Revenue creation through production of programming, special events, facility bookings, marketing, and sponsorship/partnership. High level of responsibility including confidential matters such as financial planning, budgeting, contract negotiations, human resource matters; including discipline, grievances, recruitment, training & retention of staff, and contracting of instructors and volunteers. Possesses high level of communication skills in all manners; both written & verbal.Meet Moose Jaw’s recreational program & service needs in an affordable mannerMaximize uses of the facilities such that they will contribute to the financial well-being of the facilitiesEnhance the economic development of the City through major events providing broad economic benefits to the community Negotiations, structure, contracting and logistics fulfillment for all group/organization user agreementsRisk management (financial, safety, & reputation)Identify facility maintenance and service needsDevelop and maintain contacts within community and industryCreate and implement marketing strategyPlanning, implementation and evaluation of programming Other Tasks include, but are not limited to:• Staff scheduling and labour authorization• Customer experience and customer retention strategies• Monthly facility reports; submitting to General Manager• Work collaboratively with all other DFFH departments• Daily sales reports and bank deposits• Accounts receivable management• Maintain and update the facility’s booking and use policies• Lead a positive team environment with the workplace
