About Jasmine Campos

As a recent graduate from Pepperdine’s School of Public Policy, specializing in American Politics and Dispute Resolution, I am passionate about influencing and affecting change across American Politics. Throughout my time at both Azusa Pacific and Pepperdine I have continued to refine my focus to Child and Family Policies with special emphasis in abortion policy in recent years. I currently work as the legislative analyst/advocate at the Right to Life League continuing my work in the pro-life movement. Through achieving a double major in political science and journalism I cultivated an expertise in not only theories and practice of politics, but in being able to accurately and precisely communicate those desires. I am capable of understanding the grassroots issues of a policy, discuss it with an audience toward the public while also possessing the skills to participate in workshopping every stage of the formal legislative process. With these cross-disciplinary skills, I have only continued to grow in my involvement and desire to see change at every level of the American community: from hearts and minds to policy and regulations.I have a passion for research and writing and continue to pursue those in my off time by publishing articles both through Young Voices and on occasion by freelance. My passions for reviving the American culture and social systems is rooted in a deep love of the American Founding and my unwavering Christian faith. I believe in our system, our principles, and our unyielding spirit. It is these two principles together that has spurred my passion for public policy, where the intersection of the public and government meet to produce moral, ethical, and necessary policies. When I am not writing a news story or catching up on my latest podcast, you can find me decompressing by watching old Disney movies, cuddling up with my favorite book, or spending time out with friends and family
