About Jasmine Chase
I am a Process Engineer for the metal assembly team within the High Reliability Discrete (HRDS) division of Microchip Technologies. Our parts are designed for aerospace and defense applications in which it is important that they work every single time for a long time. As someone who enjoys analyzing data and questioning why things work, I enjoy designing experiments to explore how we can make our parts more reliable and decrease yield loss. My current role enables me to apply experimental statistics skills that I practiced as a TA for a third-level engineering statistics class at Arizona State University as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) skills that I developed in my two year internship at SOURCE Global.I am interested in the intersection of data science and process engineering and aim to deepen my understanding of statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and manufacturing execution systems (MES). I would love to connect with anyone similarly interested in data-driven manufacturing practices!
