Led by Dr. Laura Knouse, the lab investigates the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral processes that contribute to effective and ineffective self-regulation to better understand ADHD in adults.Collaborating with Dr. Shweta Ware’s research team in computer science, with our current project SASSEMA (Studying ADHD with Smartphone Sensing and Ecological Momentary Assessment): 1) Using Ecological Momentary Assessment where participants complete multiple short questionnaires per day on their cell phones to understand how avoidant thoughts contribute to procrastination. 2) Using an app installed on participants’ smartphones to passively gather information about daily activities (e.g., location, movement) to better understand ADHD in daily life.

Conducted client interviews to gain insights into their customer experience, pinpointing areas of concern and potential opportunities to enhance product development and boost sales.Investigated the most effective prompt engineering techniques for generating marketing visuals with AI tools, and created a training guide to document these techniques.Created a cost-benefit analysis methodology for AI-generated visuals, aiming to optimize marketing expenditure.
