Worked with Janssen Global Clinical Operations study teams in trials within the Oncology therapeutic area across early and late phase development studies. Worked closely with study team members to assist with updating clinical protocols, consolidating reviews of mock inspections, and researching new technology introduced to trials and patient recruitment. This job also included tracking patient status throughout the trial, tracking ancillary supplies, and granting vendor access to onboarding team members. Took part in Oncology Intern Presentations on Global Health Authorities and The Human Microbiome.

Here I gained the experience of wet lab research in the dermatology department at UPMC. I helped research the study of how neutrophils induce cutaneous inflammation, specifically psoriasis, with in-vitro murine models. I injected fluid and collected neutrophils from the peritoneal cavity and separately collected bone marrow from murine models. I also had the experience using PCR machines, neutrophil enrichment kits, and reading flow charts.
