My duties included stocking and ordering inventory, balancing all cash registers including the store's safe and coordinating employee responsibilities to improve efficiency and customer service. As a shift manager, I was responsible for staying up to date with all company movement and communications between other stores within my district. I was recognized for my problem-solving skills during the first six months of being a barista. I became a manger the next following six months, making me the first black shift leader at Starbucks in my area.
