At City Beach my main duties are recovery, customer service, preparing clothes and marking items for the newest sales. We are given time frames to neaten and style our sections. City Beach has a very high standard with regard to customer service which we successfully maintain; they are also heavily cautious about loss prevention. I work most frequently at the Point Of Sale; we focus on addons/upselling, de-tagging all clothes quickly for purchases, and doing exchanges and refunds. The door is considered the most important area of the store due to the high focus on loss prevention, but also as the first point of contact with customers. Interactions with customers in this area include security and sign up to the online promotions program which is target oriented. Change room security is also labour intensive, ensuring positive customer interactions while maintaining stock integrity through the implementation of discreet theft countermeasures. I frequently run the skate level alone which requires a greater level of autonomous operation while keeping the customers, stock and register going. I also open and close registers throughout the store. This is the largest store in Australia and, as such, all standards and expectations are at the highest level. Staff are assigned daily targets and budgets which are required to be met. I have also worked at the HR department for assistance with samples, the customer service department, and with online chat-logs.

I handled all the stock during Christmas. We would have 100-130+ boxes per day. I had to scan in items, check preorders, check embargos, sticker items and put stock in allocated areas. I was let go due to 'Structual Changes'
