As part of Topshop's vast merchandising team, I am responsible for the daily allocation of stock first and foremost. General merchandising admin work, such as report configuration and analysis, brand daily sale analysis and supplier management. The role is fast paced and extremely reactive, so it is essential to know the brand's customer, as well as having branch specific knowledge. Working in such a fast paced environment requires good time management skills and initiative.

Working alongside a small, confident team my role began with searching for appropriate social media influencers on a global scale for the brand and creating relationships with them to help promote a relatively new business. Contacting magazine/blogs who might be interested in featuring new designers in articles/editorials and maintaining existing relationships with affiliates of the brand. My role later went on to creating social media content and newsletters for the brand's subscriber list. I was also given the responsibility of creating content proposals inclusive of The Clothing Lounge's product for different media outlets, adapting and taking on the the signature style of each in hope of them promoting the The Clothing Lounge's new and emerging designers. This role was reliant on good time management skills and communication as it was a work from home internship.

Working alongside a small and dynamic team, I was given various roles including; maintenance and content creation of all social media platforms, helping to find affiliates for the brand and brainstorming ideas for their seasonal launch. I was given the opportunity to see through the new season collection launch event from beginning to end. The role also included general office admin work.
