Jasmine (Arlease) Pollard is a fearless, Christian entrepreneur, and author based in Richmond, Virginia. At 31, she embarked on a transformative journey, returning to academia as a non-traditional student at Virginia Union University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Entrepreneurship Management, driven by her desire to deepen her impact in the community.With a diverse background as a Full Spectrum Doula and her own ventures in Personal Assisting Services and later, a successful events business, The Lavish Experience, Jasmine has championed the growth of women, children, and Black entrepreneurs in the Richmond region. Her passion extends beyond business, touching the lives of individuals through her authenticity, creativity, advocacy, and support.In her literary debut, Jasmine contributed to Cathy Staton’s anthology, Words of Wisdom for the Heart and Soul, Volume II, blending personal experience with practical advice. Venturing into self-publishing in 2023, she released a series of inspirational journals designed to guide and empower others in their personal and professional growth journeys. Her latest project, SurvivingHer: Volume IV, shares her personal challenges and triumphs in dealing with weight loss surgery, body dysmorphia, and the path to self-love.Jasmine also served as the Executive Assistant at The JWC Foundation, leveraging her expertise in operations and extensive network to foster community initiatives. Eager to bridge her entrepreneurial drive with a deep-seated desire to uplift, she is focused on launching her nonprofit aimed at empowering women and children this year.
