A fast-paced role that covers many aspects of digital print and design, while managing my own workload and covering deliveries when needed. Trusted to take commercial van home over the weekend. Expected to communicate and build relationships with a range of customers, over the counter, by phone and by email. Confident and adaptable designer with a broad knowledge of large and small format printing and book-binding. Responsible for Tempus account worth over £2500 p/m.

HND Computer Arts and DesignThis course covered many subject areas such as graphic design, 3D animation, and motion graphics, life drawing and sculpture. Each project is unique in its development and I had to adhere to strict deadlines for delivery. It’s given me an opportunity to learn, practice and understand software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Premier Pro, Bridge, MAYA and more.

My role in this retail position is to serve customers at the tills, promote deals and additional services, keeping the shop clean and tidy and filling shelves with products. Also responsible for checking prices of items and reducing products for quick sale.

This was a short course I took as an introduction back into education. All units passed.

I was a cold food and pizza chef at this establishment throughout the summer. I started at the Captains Table as a kitchen porter for 2 weeks, then trained to be a cook while also running food orders out to customers, making coffees, opening up and closing down the kitchen and ordering stock.

Servicing loans for customers, holding team meetings, strictly following processes and procedures, managing call times, creating information packs for colleague.

The company had invested in training me in different areas – all of which I’d excelled in. I'd meet daily targets such as call handling times and customer satisfaction, and lot of my efforts went to investigating various problems and following processes to come to a pertinent conclusion. All this is done strictly under the Data Protection Act (1998). I was recognised on many occasions by upper management for my valuable contributions.

This was a short-term second job waiting tables and serving drinks over the Christmas period.

Had a range of responsibilities, from cleaning wigwams, to reception duties. Also tended the bar and waited tables as well as leading outdoor activities such as laser tag, quad bikes and the zip wire.

My family were running this hotel and I stayed for the live-in work while I was still in school. I cleaned living spaces and guest rooms, worked in reception, helped prepare food and advertised events.
