My life's purpose is to empower people to believe that the Impossibilites are simply Possibilites in disguise.My father is an immigrant, my mother battled brain cancer for almost a decade, I didn't learn how to read until I was 11, my family survived on government-issued food, and every Christmas we'd find gifts donated to my family from our church.I was the slowest, dumbest, and quietest kid. I spent most my life silently begging to go unnoticed.When I was 25 years old, I dropped out of law school and was gifted a camera...and >>this<< was when my life truly began.I taught myself photography (thank you, Google!) and three years later was named Top 10 Wedding Photographer in the World (the following year I was also named Top 10 Most Influential Photographer, and Top 10 Most Socially Influential Photographer).I spent my life believing I was marked by Impossibilities -- invisible fences keeping me on the outside.But my camera changed that. It became a passport for me to connect with people in front of my lens.Then a crazy thing happened: People started asking me for business advice.I began teaching small business owners how to build a personal brand and market it on social media, and soon walked onto stages to teach thousands of people at once.Over a decade later, I founded Social Curator, a branding and social media marketing platform for business owners.I no longer believe in invisible fences or standing on the periphery.
