I possess over twenty-four years of experience as a Registered Nurse, most of which is in critical care nursing (cardiac monitoring). I have worked in the Intensive Care Unit for seventeen years. Before becoming a Registered Nurse, I worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a Hospital and a Nursing Home for seven years. During my nursing profession, I also traveled as a nurse to different states to work as a relief medical staff. For the past six years, I have been working in Post Anesthesia Care Unit, caring for pre and postoperative patients. In 2017 I graduated with my MSN with a focus on education. Recently, in 2019 my post-master’s certification in Nurse Informatics. Work at Modesto Junior College as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor. I have attended leadership training programs that lasted for six months. During these training programs, I sharpened my skills in communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and influencing organizational changes. Presently attending Jessup University pursuing masters in leadership focus on Christianity. Also, at Modesto Kaiser, where I work, I oversee a Prayer Committee help meet the patient's spiritual needs alongside the Hospital Chaplin.I am organized and detail-oriented with high standards for performance and maintenance treatment protocols.
