Manage multiple nationwide NIH- and industry-sponsored clinical trials. Recruit and enroll study participants; design local advertisements; develop source documents and data collection forms; gather and maintain data and databases. Carried out a self-directed research project on dengue virus under the mentorship of Dr. Wei-Kung Wang (“Expression of Dengue Virus-Like Particles in Drosophila Cells as Vaccine Candidates”). Presented at the Honors Spring Symposium, American Society for Microbiology Spring Meeting (2nd place), and at the Biomedical Sciences and Health Disparities Symposium (2015).

Conducted research on Glioblastoma Multiforme under the mentorship of Dr. Ian F. Parney (“The Role of Extracellular Vesicle-Bound B7-H1 in Glioma-Induced Immunosuppression”) and presented our work to the faculty and students of the Mayo Graduate School.

Developed curriculum with other instructors and taught Japanese to young students through reading and writing, as well as hands-on activities meant to immerse students in Japanese culture.
