My life has revolved around writing and poetry, in making my words persuasive I found how useful that is in marketing and sales. I am very independent, and always the first to speak my mind and share my ideas. I want to live a life in which I inspire others, as I have done through my two published poetry books, and use my writing talents in order to attract attention to businesses, as I have done working for Apprintable for the past few years, promoting their products. I am a young girl with large goals, yet no goal is ever too big. I over-plan, over-think and always have a mind fuelled with new ideas, and this is why I think I would be an asset to marketing.My relevant experience is working for the London-Based company Apprintable as a free intern for the past year and a half. The company recognised my writing talents through my online blog and my growing instagram page @jasminewilliamspoetry, and wanted me to use my creative, persuasive writing skills in order to attract attention to their products. Many of my pieces have been featured on their blog. Not to mention, I have published, designed, edited and marketed two of my own poetry collections, first in 2019 with 'The Adventures of Insanity', and my most recent 'Utopia' in December 2020. Recently, the University of Bristol recognised my poetry talents and we are currently working on a poetry-based advert to explain and help students adjust to the new COVID student life, and impressed by my poem for the university, my father whom works for Rick Stein, passed it on to him and they are interested in using my poetry for a similar advert. I also worked as an ambassador for Virgin Media, selling wifi, broadband and television deals to students all over the country. I have experience in marketing individually and in aiding a company in marketing their products, and I hope that my creative mind could be an asset to your company.
