A second-year dedicated student currently pursuing a Master's in Physics at VIT University, Vellore. I am eager to immerse myself in Material Science and Engineering, nurturing a strong passion for advancing my research career. My academic journey began with an undergraduate degree in Physics, supplemented by valuable experiences such as completing a value-added course on “SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION” during 2021-2022 which is associated with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Madurai, Tamilnadu. I have also done another value-added course on “DOCUMENTATION AND PRESENTATION TOOLS FOR ENTREPRENEURS” during 2022-2023. During my undergraduate tenure, I actively engaged in extracurricular pursuits, including an extension program of Extra Credit Courses where I earned an extra 20 credits and I did a community-focused project as part of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana initiative in collaboration with the Honourable Member of Parliament during 2022-2023. My undergraduate academic project focused on developing a smart energy management system utilizing IoT and GSM technology to monitor plant conditions using moisture, LDR, and temperature sensors. The objective was to ensure optimal moisture levels for plant growth by employing a comparative analysis of these sensors. Currently, my research in material science delves into synthesizing NiO and CO3O4 and integrating them into PVDF-HFP and PMMA-based polymer electrolytes for energy storage applications. This involves synthesizing the metal oxides via the precipitation method and preparing the polymer electrolyte using the solution casting technique, infused with varying ratios of NiO and CO3O4 separately. The resulting electrolyte undergoes comprehensive characterization through X-RAY Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), UV-VIS Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), Thermogravimetry Differential Thermal Analysis (TG/DTA), Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), and Linear Sweep Voltammetry (LSV). The comparative study evaluates conductivity across different NiO and CO3O4 ratios in the polymer blends for potential application in lithium-ion batteries.
