Known the world over as the leader in luxury accommodation experiences, The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne was the 111th Ritz-Carlton hotel to open in the global brand's history, sharing with guests an alchemy of ancient stories and vibrant cultures through a distinctly Melbourne lens.In addition to developing complete hotel positioning and the creative management of the genesis of two restaurant and bar brand concepts, the role required acute attention to detail, unrelenting respect for brand legacy and evolution, an astute understanding of the local and international luxury accommodation landscape, insight-driven strategy creation and implementation, confident communication ability, and unwavering strength and commitment towards positive relationship development with media personnel, project partners, brand and company leaders and key target markets.From construction to doors open, I was responsible for pre-opening and operational marketing forecast and budget creation, guest awareness and channel sell-strategy development, implementation and management, paid, earned and owned marketing efforts, content creation and production, event activation planning and delivery, media hosting, whole of hotel photography, as well as analysis and reporting to key internal stakeholders.The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne was my fifth hotel opening in five consecutive years.
