I recently worked with The Kings Theatre to create some promotional posters, which are now being sold within the theatre, as well as being on display on the Dress Circle promenade. Jasmine had multiple ideas on how to capture the history and architecture of our building but to also add a modern feel to it. She designed 2 new pieces of artwork for The Kings Theatre. Within the space of 1 month, both pieces were complete, mounted and for sale on our Dress Circle promenade. Both pieces were extremely different, one was an tribute to our Art Nouveau design around the theatre whilst capturing how a lady would have looked back in the Edwardian days. The another piece was dedicated to our Jack & The Beanstalk Pantomime. For the past few months I have been working on a freelance basis to create promotional posters and artwork for Love Southsea. This has enabled my progression in terms of working to a brief, as well as allowing me to visualise design concepts that are inkeeping with the brand’s image.
