Being successful in this role has resulted in the creation of a formation department rooted in womanist theology with study groups, courses, and culturally relevant pathways to preserve the history and forge new legacies of this church. I am charged with organizing the McCarty Legacy historical archive project, collaborating with local non-profits to form a resource network for transitional age youth, and ministering to the Transitional Age Youth community.
