Managed $1,000,000+ orientation budget. Developed, coordinated, and evaluated new student orientation programs for approximately 5,500 first-time freshmen and their families.Ensured all logistical needs were met, including but not limited to securing facilities, speakers, food arrangements, transportation, management of a database, oversaw registration, and maintained quality control across all elements of orientation operations.Developed and efficiently administered orientation, including budget forecasting, cash operations, planning, and monitoring of revenue and expenditures.Conducted special studies and evaluations and provided reports and recommendations to ensure continuous improvement to the orientation experience. Coordinated, evaluated and communicated research findings to University community.Planned other special events for Enrollment Management. Assisted with on-campus and off-campus recruiting events.Oversaw the development, design, and production of letters and publications. Monitored New Student Orientation and recruitment events’ websites and coordinated updates/changes. Coordinated and facilitated the printing of materials and publications with other University offices to meet project deadlines and budgets.Collaborated closely with Senior Coordinator of Student Ambassadors to effectively train, deploy and evaluate Admissions Ambassadors who work orientation events.Developed and maintained effective working relationships internally with other departments, divisions, colleges, and schools, as well as students, to maximize cooperation, and externally with prospective students, admitted students, parents, alumni, high school personnel, and community groups. Maintained active membership in professional organizations and represented WVU at various functions.
