About Jasmine He
My career began with independence as I got emancipated at the age of 16 and had to support myself, taking on roles as a piano accompanist and then transitioning into the food industry. I developed important foundational skills that I now utilize in my current employment experiences which includes working in high pressure environments, multitasking, problem-solving and communication skills. After numerous experiences working in restaurants, I decided to seek challenges beyond the food industry and explore internship opportunities as well as different jobs that have shaped my personal and professional growth. At Bulletin, I honed my communication and organization skills while gaining exposure to the sales and marketing industry. Subsequent roles as a Brand Ambassador, IT Assistant and in a call center further enriched my skill set. I have learned much about my interests and am currently a law student on my journey to a career in the legal world. With a bachelor’s degree encompassing music, political science, and business management, I pursued my passion for piano, studying under Professor Gilbert Kalish at Stony Brook University. Performing in recitals and learning from an esteemed professor has been pivotal in my journey as a pianist. After a considerable gap of not playing piano since middle school, I made a spontaneous decision to rekindle my passion for piano and resume studying. This decision has brought me immense fulfillment. I could not be more grateful for the experiences I have had as a pianist at Stony Brook University. My academic path introduced me to the complexities of business and corporations, complementing my interest in political science, which I discovered during my freshman year of college. I have always been fascinated by businesses and corporations, along with a strong understanding of their complexities. The dynamic nature of politics continues to captivate me, influencing my experiences as I pursue a career in the legal field. As a first year law student, I look forward to leveraging my diverse background and skills to contribute effectively in future endeavors, driven by a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
