I am a civil engineering student at Purdue University, and I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree. Engineering isn't just my major; it's my passion, and I'm excited to immerse myself in the environment of innovation and problem-solving.I believe that some of the best engineers are also great communicators. In my time here at Purdue, I'm challenging myself in team-based projects in my engineering-focused course where I have determined whether a library should implement solar panels through cost and environmental analyses, and I am currently working in a team to calculate generated power through models that my team made that display the relationship between reservoir height and volume. In this most recent project, I'm looking at the Taum Sauk Reservoir, which allows me to apply my engineering skills to real-world projects. Looking towards my interests within civil engineering, I'm particularly interested in structures, hydraulics, and transportation.Outside of the classroom, you'll often find me in the gym or outdoors. The discipline and determination that come with staying fit complement my approach to engineering, where resilience and hard work are key.As a second-year student, I'm eagerly looking to secure an internship to gain hands-on experience in the engineering field. I'm interested in getting the opportunity to show off my skills, learn from others, and grow in all areas.
