As a Homeless Outreach Worker, I would work alongside my colleagues in responding to 311 calls and government requests that referred us to individuals in need of services. It was truly an honor to be working alongside professionals in the field who also follow the mission to end homelessness and help make a difference for our New York City community.

I had the honor of working with Atmosphere Press on bringing a novel I began writing during free time in college, to reality. Inspired to write based on discussion surrounding mental health and the stigma associated with various diagnoses, the novel sheds light on an individual’s battle with mental health. Through knowledge gained while pursuing my psychology degree, the novel showcases a realistic and harsh reality of people who are diagnosed with a mental illness. Published under pseudonym. As a Sales Associate at Anthropologie, I understood the importance of valuing all of my customers and taking care in providing a frictionless shopping experience. After working at Anthropologie for over a year, I gained skills in customer service and collaboration. In addition, I had the opportunity to coach new team members on my experience in helping customers. After parting from Anthropologie due to moving, there are many takeaways from my time at URBN as a Sales Associate.
