Eng. Jasmine Nanayakkara, is an MBA graduate of University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Her first degree is B.Tech (Hons) in Computer Engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka. She has lifelong learning skills to adopt new knowledge areas and competent in different industries during past 15 years. Eng. Jasmine Nanayakara is a social entrepreneur as the founder of Real Life and Snr. Business consultant at Step by Step consultancy services. Real Life is a social enterprise of a professional network of mentors, counselors, ambassadors, and volunteers that support sociocultural and environmental initiatives. They specialize in family life coaching, therapy, mindfulness, sustainable living, and edutainment programs. She is the creator of 'O'girl' brand with zero carbon footprint Eco friendly, origami designed handmade paper art made of Recycled waste paper/ Banana fibre/ Elephant dung/ Cinnamon and Tea leaves 100% biodegradable papers. These products are made by outpatients of Cancer who are entitled for the sustainable social subsidiary system through 'Creative Entrepreneurship' Program. She bears the immediate past chairmanship of the Entrepreneurship Forum at the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL), the multidisciplinary professional engineering institution in Sri Lanka. She is the Co-creator of Engineering Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (EEB), empowering fellow Engineers by providing incubator program and support services with consulting, mentoring and networking as the ecosystem to promote Engineering Entrepreneurship in Sri Lanka. Her research interests are emotional intelligence, business intelligence and sustainability. She specializes in strategic management and interest in the area of developing strategies in creativity and innovation for technology towards sustainable development.
