• Worked with Candler’s Assistant Dean of Student Life & Spiritual Formation and Candler’s Special Events Office to create relevant programs to enrich the Candler community • Designed and implemented Candler’s New Student Orientation, including managing a $25,000 budget and ensuring that Candler’s incoming 150 students are equipped to successfully begin their new academic program• Served as the lead planner for Candler’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner, an event that hosts 250 people, and Candler’s End of the Year Party, an event that hosts 150 people, by working collaboratively with Office of Student Programming staff, student organizations, Candler’s Events Office and volunteers• Recruited and supervised 50 volunteers to staff Candler’s New Student Orientation• Completed various administrative and communication duties, including website management, creating monthly newsletters, maintaining social media outlets and staff scheduling

• Communicated with grantees, evaluated grant requests and prepared funding recommendations for the trustees and senior staff • Conducted institutional research projects, consisting of analyzing portions of the Fund’s previous grantmaking to help inform future decision making • Managed the Fund’s newest grantmaking vehicle for strategic investments in one of the Fund’s rural communities, which involved coordinating the allocation of $500,000 worth of grant resources • Researched and tracked issues related to energy conservation and sustainability on college campuses, and served as the primary contact for all energy conservation-related grant requests • Designed a two-day conference on strategies for conserving energy on small private colleges for 100 participants of academic administrators, faculty and students• Administered the people-in-need and clergy enrichment small grants programs for religious organizations• Monitored and chronicled the use of endowment funds for over 30 institutions • Met annually with legislators on Capitol Hill to advocate on behalf of foundations during the Foundations on the Hill event
