This involves partnering with food insecurity organizations in Detroit, MI and Wayne County to bring resources such as food demonstrations and mini-farmers markets in the community. I also managed a local coalition dedicated to fighting childhood obesity in Southeast Michigan called the MOTION Coalition. This involved organizing workgroup meetings and all member meetings, as well as developing materials that can be used to educate the public on MOTION Coalition's efforts.
