I am a motivated First Class Honours Textiles graduate from Arts University Bournemouth, currently thriving as a Creative Marketer at Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. My career journey has been marked by a blend of creative marketing, content production, strategic branding and textile design, reflecting my passion for innovation and artistic expression.At Aspex Portsmouth, where I spent two years as a Junior Content Producer, I honed my skills in social media management, marketing campaign leadership, and content creation. Working alongside the Marketing and Communications Manager, I managed social media platforms, spearheaded marketing campaigns for the dementia arts group ‘Generate’, and crafted advertisements for local magazines such as Flagship, Families South East, and QA Portsmouth. Additionally, I led and supported Family Saturday workshops and coordinated events for seasonal exhibitions.My professional foundation was built as a graphic designer for Pukka Pad and through running my own digital art business, @Digitalartbyjas, on Instagram and Etsy, which I launched during lockdown. This venture allowed me to expand my creative horizons and entrepreneurial skills.My specialization in textiles includes digital design for print and embroidery, combining traditional techniques with modern technology. During my studies, I explored hand dyeing natural fabrics and integrating synthetic embroidery threads, experimenting with heat pressing digital designs into embroidery to enhance texture and visual appeal.I am passionate about leveraging my skills in textiles and marketing to create impactful and innovative projects.
