Born and raised in San Francisco, Jasmine Rios, Mina by trade, found inspiration in the arts through film, live performance, and the local culinary experience. Following training in music, theater, and dance during her youth, she pursued Journalism and Mass Communications. After a decade long career path down Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations avenues, opportunity in Journalism emerged. Rios followed her ambition to return to the arts by establishing Mina Communications in 2007 to help facilitate Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing, and Grant Writing service needs in the arts community. After the pandemic, Rios fulfilled an enduring commitment to environmentalism, undergoing corps leadership training with former VP Al Gore's Climate Reality Project in 2022, prompting the integration of climate advocacy into the Mina Communications business framework.
